Guwahati (Assam), Nov 21 : The health condition of former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi continues to be critical and the next 48 to 72 hours are very crucial.
Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa said that his condition is so critical that he is not in position to be shifted to AIIMS , Delhi for any specialized treatment .

He said his condition is pre multi -organ failure stage and the doctors at GMC may start dialysis as there is decrease in his urine output .
However , the team of doctors attending to Tarun Gogoi is in touch with doctors from AIIMS and they are satisfied with the line of the treatment .
The former CM was first admitted to the GMCH on August 26 after he tested positive for COVID-19.
