Kokrajhar (Assam),Nov 2: In a shocking incident,five members of a family reportedly committed suicide inside their house including three daughters on Monday night in Kokrajhar district.
The incident took place at Tulsibil bazar under Gossaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district.
The incident occurred in the house of Nirmal Paul at Tulsibil bazar under Gossaigaon police station.
Other family members who were found hanging inside their house were identified as Mollika Paul,Niha Paul,Dipa Paul and Puja Paul.
The Paul family was residing at the Tulsibil bazar for many years.
According to locals ,the family members were not seen in the morning and later they found hanging in their house.
However, what could have forced the family members to take such a drastic step in their own house is still not known .
Locals of the area suspect that there might have been some serious problem within the family .Nirmal Paul was dealing in LPG dealership in the area and of late was facing severe financial hardships .
Kokrajhar SP Rakesh Roushan told South Asia Views that the incident took place late night inside the house and the head of the family , Nirmal Paul was facing severe financial hardships during the last few months.
