Guwahati (Assam), June 16 : A total of 206 Covid patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals acroos the state were discharged on Tuesday after testing negative twice .
With this the total number of discharged patients so far has gone up to 2411 with 1897 active cases and surpassing the national figures .
The Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to his twitter handle to disclose the figures .
In his first tweet he said , “Glad to share that 188 patients have been discharged today from various civil, dist & model hospitals in Assam, after being tested negative”.

In the second tweet he said , “Glad to share that 18 patients have been discharged today after being tested negative.DH Hailakandi 8; MCH Paruwa 7; MMCH 2; Bogribari MH 1”

The state is well above 50 percent recovery rate as of now .
However , the state recorded a total of 10 COVID19+ cases have been in Assam today.
The cases are : 3 from Dhemaji, 3 from Udalguri, 2 from Sonitpur, 1 each from Nagaon and Hojai.
