Guwahati (Assam) , May 19 : Seven cases of Covid -19 were detected in Kamrup district apart from two each in Hojai, Biswanath and Nalbari districts and one case in Nagaon this afternoon , taking the total figure to 135.
Seeing the sudden increase in the number of cases the state health minister has appealed to the people to stay at home as much as possible and follow all the guidelines .
The minister tweeted at 11.55 am ,” Alert – 14 new #COVID + cases confirmed. 7 are from Kamrup , 2 from Hojai, 2 from Biswanath, 1 from Nagaon,2 from Nalbari. Total cases now touch 135.Please #StayAtHome as much as possible and follow all instructions.
