Guwahati ( Assam), June 26 : There is no let down to the surge as far news cases of Covid -19 is concerned .
Thursday ,saw a total number of 276 new cases being detected across the state taking the total number of cases to 6646.

Due to sudden spurt in Covid cases in Guwahati due to community transmission major areas in the city has been put under lockdown and chances are there that it might be extended in the entire city if the spread in not controlled .
Assam Health Minister tweeted on Thursday night , “📌Alert ~ 276 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today.”
