Guwahati(Assam), June 2 : 61 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours .
Confirming the figures , Chief Minister Dr . Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet said that 4178 new cases were detected out which 383 cases were from Kamrup (Metro) .

The new cases were detected after conducting 102922 tests .
The overall positivity percentage for the day was 4.06% and the recovery rate was 86.70%.
