Guwahati( Assam), July 1 : 38 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections and 2669 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours .
The cases were detected after conducting 1,37,665 tests.
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet informed that out of all the new cases 176 were reported from Kamrup(Metro).

He also added that the overall positivity percentage for the day was 1.94 % and recovery rate stood at 94.07 %.
