Guwahati (Assam) , June 20 : 105 -year -old Samed Ali hailing from Dhubri was today discharged from the Super specialty Covid Hospital situated in Guwahati Medical College Hospital ,here .
The hospital in a tweet, said: “105 yrs old Samed Ali, hailing from Dhubri, defeated COVID and is discharged from Super specialty Covid Hospital, GMCH today.”
Meanwhile , a total 1775 new Covid -19 cases were detected in the state in the past 24 hours while 30 more patients succumbed to their infections .

Kamrup Metro reported a total of 133 new cases .
Chief Minister , Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet informed that the overall positivity percentage for the day was 2.27 % and the recovery rate stood at 92.17%
