Shillong(Meghalaya) June 21: 5 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 785 .
While 3 death were reported from East Khasi Hills , one each was reported from West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi .
The deceased have been identified as: Suruchi Deb Nath (74 yrs )from Laitumkhrah, Shillong , Balajied Syierlait (34 yrs ) from Mawsynram, Wansalan Khonglah (62 yrs ) from Bakur, Ramesh Lal Rai (36 yrs ) from Sumer and Dinesh Chandra Acharjee (80 yrs ) from RR Colony, Shillong .

According to a press note ,a total of 269 new Covid -19 cases were detected on Monday which includes 120 from East Khasi Hills .
The state also had 655 new recovered cases in last 24 hours.
