Guwahati(Assam), Nov13 : Two national-level kickboxers along with three other girls have reportedly joined banned ULFA (I).
The girls are seen making the announcement in a video that surfaced on the social media on Friday .
In the video, the two female kickboxers are seen proceeding towards deep jungles along with three other girls.
According to news reports , kickboxers Nayanmani Chetia and Sabita Chetia along with three other girls are untraceable since Tuesday.
The two woman kickboxers has been identified as one Nayanmati Chetia who is a resident of the district of Tinsukia, Assam and another as Sabita Chetia belongs from Gogamukh of Dhemaji district, North Assam.
The identity of two other girls who hail from Morigaon and Majuli has not yet been ascertained while the third girl has been identified as Sarmistha Saikia from Laluk in the Lakhimpur district.
Surprisingly , the girls have gone to the jungles to join ULFA (I) when the state government is in touch with the CNC Paresh Baruah for holding of peace talks .
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had recently said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah authorized him to hold preliminary talks with the ULFA (I) and added that if things move in a proper direction, the central government may get involved in the peace talks with the ULFA at a later stage.
The video shared shows the visual of the two woman kickboxers, Nayanmati and Sabita entering dense forests along with three other girls from Assam.
