Guwahati (Assam) , June 21 : An earthquake of 5.1 on the richter scale hit capital, Guwahati and other parts of Assam at around 4.15 PM , this evening .
Shocks were also felt in other northeastern states ,too.

According to official sources,the epicenter of the earthquake was near Darlawn in Aizawl in the state of Mizoram.
There are no reports of any casulty or damages , so far.
