Guwahati(Assam), Aug 24 : 1879 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Monday taking the total number of cases so far to 92, 619.
Among the new cases on Monday Kamrup Metro reported 471, Dibrugarh 143, Jorhat 138 and Cachar 133.

The positive rare stands at 6.55
A total of 2190 patients were discharged from various hospitals today . With this the number of recovered patients in the state has become more than 3.5 times the number of active patients.
A total of 10 Covid patients succumbed to their infections today taking the death toll to 252 .
