Agartala (Tripura),Sept 16: Tripura”s COVID-19 tally rose to 20,172 on Wednesday as 454 more people tested positive for the infection, while 10 fresh fatalities pushed the state”s coronavirus death toll to 217.
West Tripura district, under which Agartala falls, has accounted for 118 of the 217 coronavirus fatalities reported in the state so far.
Tripura now has 7,497 active COVID-19 cases, while 12,435 people have recovered from the disease so far.

23 patients have migrated to other states.
A total of 3,40,005 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in Tripura so far.
