Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 8 : Mawsynram Police Station successfully intercepted two stolen bikes from Shillong and one from Assam during a routine check today . When one rider attempted to evade the checkpoint, a thrilling chase ensued.
Although the rider abandoned the bike and escaped, the police recovered the stolen vehicles.

The recovered Items included Bike no. AS19 N 8664, Bike no. ML 05AD 3852 and Bike no. ML05 AE 1218.
2 persons identified as Sengku M Marak and Cornalius Mukhim were arrested.
