Shillong ( Meghalaya ), Jan 30 : The BJP today received another boost before the upcoming elections as more that 600 supporters of Martin Danggo of NPP joined the party at a programme organised at the State Party Office here .
The joinees were led by Pelcy Snaitang (Woman leader from Ranikor).
Among the joinees were Ex MDC – Manstudy Nongrem, Lastbon Pariong (Chief Advisor of NPP Ranikor), Christopher Lyngdoh (Youth President of NPP Ranikor), Lengna Sangma (Vice President of NPP Ranikor), PK Nongmin (Vice President of NPP Ranikor), Justik Hashah (Youth Vice President of NPP Ranikor), and Santosh Sangma (Senior leader of NPP Ranikor).
Now, it is almost certain that Martin Danggo will be the BJP candidate from Ranikor in the forthcoming assembly elections .
State Vice President, Dipayan Chakraborty and State General Secretary, Clerance G Nongbet welcomed all the joinees to the party and congratulated them on joining the team of PM Narendra Modi that was focused on bringing development and progress in Meghalaya. They assured the audience that the BJP would achieve all their dreams that they had for Ranikor and for the state.
The joinees all expressed their excitement on joining the party and spoke about their confidence in the leadership of PM Modi and the BJP. They said that the BJP was the only party that they knew that had actually delivered on all of their promises made from time to time across the country. They said, they wanted the BJP to change the fate of Meghalaya as well.
