Dimapur (Nagaland ), May 25 : Andrea Kevichusa from Nagaland featured on the cover page of filmfare magazine’ for May 2022 edition alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
Andrea will be making her debut in the film Anek, with Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead actor.
‘ Andrea Kevichüsa is of Angami Naga descent from Khonoma.
Kevichusa is the first artiste from Nagaland, and probably from the Northeast, to be featured on the cover of Filmfare magazine.
The cover shot was shared on social media by Filmfare, Ayushmann Khurrana and Andrea Kevichusa. The magazine shared the photo with caption, “Two hot to handle! Ayushmann Khurrana and Andrea Kevichusa grace our May 2022 cover and look fabulous while doing so!”
Another image shared by the Filmfare read: ‘Our May 2022 cover star Andrea Kevichusa who is originally from Nagaland, is all set to debut with director Anubhav Sinha’s Anek which deals with issues that have plagued the people of the Northeast.’
The photo for the Filmfare magazine cover was shot by Kunal Gupta, stylist for Ayushmann was Isha Bhansali; Kevichusa’s stylist was Neetu Bhardwaj and Hair and Make-up Artist (HMU) were Alisha and Krutika Jain; and for Ayushmann was Mohd Javed from Aalim Hakim and Sanjay Yadav.
Talking about her experience working with Ayushmann and Anubhav Sinha, Andrea said, “When I got to know that I am going to work with such big names, I was horrified to think that their expectations were met. I won’t be able to land and give my best. But Ayushmann and Anubhav sir created such a comfortable environment for me on the sets that I didn’t feel any extra pressure to over-perform or do anything that would be a newcomer in this field. It was beyond my capabilities.”
The film is set to be released in cinemas on May 27.
