Shillong (Meghalaya ), June 21 : Meghalaya is one of the most well managed states in the country as far as controlling of the Covid pandemic is concerned .
The state is also one of the least affected states in the country with the lowest number of cases so far .
The good news is that with 5 recoveries on Sunday after testing negative twice the state now has only 6 active cases .
So far a total of 44 persons were infected with the deadly virus and 37 patients have fully recovered . The first Covid positive patient in the state died .

The state Chief Minister , Conrad Sangma tweeted today , “5 more persons have recovered and test negative for COVID19.
