Shillong ( Meghalaya), Mar 25 : Desking Rangslang, of Mawdiangdiang, was admitted to Civil Hospital here and succumbed to his infections on Wednesday .
His death was reported today and the cause of his death is due to Covid-19 pneumonia with acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Initially ,Rangslang tested negative using the Rapid Antigen Test but Truenat tested him positive for Covid-19.
He had complained of shortness of breath for two days before being admitted to the hospital .
Meanwhile , the state reported 3 more Covid caees with 2 cases in East Khasi Hills and 1 in Ri Bhoi . The state tally now stands at 14,022 with 23 active cases after a total of 13, 849 persons were declared recovered . The death toll stands at 150 so far .
