Shillong (Meghalaya) , Oct 19 : The state today reported the lowest number of single day increase of Covid cases on Monday when only 28 new Covid cases were detected on Monday .
Among the new 28 cases, 11 were reported from East Khasi Hills , 6 from West Jaintia Hills , 5 each from Ri Bhoi and West Garo Hills and 1 from East Jaintia Hills .

A total of 110 patients were declared recovered today .
Till date the total cases stand at 8, 536 out of which 2, 069 are active cases and 75 deaths .
