Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 14 : Based on credible leads for the past three weeks that some persons from neighboring Assam was using Malidor in East Jaintia Hills as a hub to supply the banned drugs for onward movement into the state .

Today ,East Jaintia Hills Police laid a trap and after a short pursuit intercepted one red Celerio b/rg no AS10 A 8308 at Malidor and arrested two persons hailing from Karimganj and Badarpur Assam and seized 14 Soap Boxes of suspected heroine and approximately 10000 NOs of YABA tablets commonly know as World is Yours tablets concealed under the bonnet of the car .
A case under NDPS Act has been registered.
