Shillong (Meghalaya ), April 15 : A total of 97 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state today.
Among the 97 cases 50 were reported from Calvary Bible College in the capital .
Today 93 cases were reported from East Khasi Hills which included 50 from from a Bible college in Nongthymmai area of Shillong , 24 returnees , 2 from armed forces, 5 high- risk contacts , 3 health workers , 4 from Mawlai locality and 5 with influenza.

2 new cases were were reported from West Jaiñtia Hills and 1 from Ri-Bhoi district .
3 patients were declared recovered today .
The total cases in the state Meghalaya now stand at 14,582 out of which 457 cases are active after 13,974 patients were declared recovered. The state has also reported 151 deaths so far .
