Shillong ( Meghalaya), Dec 2 : The Department of Art and Culture , Meghalaya will organise “The Umngot River Festival on Friday at Shnongpdeng , Dawki in West Khasi Hills .
The programme will include water sports like Boating , Swimming, Water Polo , Boat Tableau Competition and Zip Lining .
You can experience zip lining located along the Umngnot river.. You can zip through the magnificent landscape of Dawki. Zipline extends over 2,600 feet over the river at a height of 1,200 feet and Yes you can swim at the starting point from where the lake is being formed near stones.
You can also play water polo and many more games .
The event is being organised as part of celebrating Meghalaya’s 50th year of statehood and India’s 75th year of independence .
