Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , June 11 : 10 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the state in the past 24 hours pushing the death toll to 714 .
According to a government statement , 7 deaths were from East Khasi Hills while 1 each was reported from Ri Bhoi , West Jaintia Hills and West Garo Hills .

A total of 514 new cases were detected on Friday out of which 183 were from East Khasi Hills .
On Friday , 526 patients undergoing treatment were discharged from various hospitals after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stand at 4993 .
