Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 19 : The members of Hynniewtrep Integrated Territorial Organization(HITO) strongly criticized the coming of the President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Manjinder Singh Sirsa to Shillong recently.
They termed his coming as “wrong time” as the situation was not conducive, as the state Government is trying to shift all the residents of Mawlonghat in Shillong to different Government’s establishments.
Speaking to the media, the HITO leaders said as per a report collected by their organization, there was a breach of health protocol in the meeting that was held on the 13th of this month at Mawlonghat here .
These leaders also asked the Additional DC Ms .Phawa that the same yardstick should be applied for those violating the Covid -19 protocol.
The leaders also added that they wholeheartedly support the state in its effort to evict all the illegal residents from Mawlonghat here .
