Shillong ( Meghalaya), March 11 : Large number of people belonging to Hima Sohiong in Khasi Hills District today, March 11, stormed the office of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) here demanding removal of the Lyngdoh of Hima Sohiong, Shemphang Thabah for his alleged failure to serve the people.
The protestors alleged that Thabah has functioned dishonestly, while accusing him of selling Nongwah-Mawtapur village which falls under Hima Sohiong to Assam.

The protestors, while carrying placards against the Thabah, also shouted slogans against the Lyngdoh and the KHADC .
