Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 1 : Chief Minister , Conrad Sangma today said that the Government will relocate all its employees from Iew Mawlong in Shillong to the designated locations prepared for them.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma while speaking to the media at his office chamber said that the Government employees will be relocated in different prime locations and areas which will be provided with the best facilities for their conducive their stay.
When asked on the border issue, the Chief Minister said he had a telephonic talk with Assam’s counterpart and the head of states decided to visit at least two or three disputed border locations between Assam and Meghalaya. The CM said this visit will take place during the second week of November .
On Covid vaccination scenario in the state, the CM said that the Health Department has done its best to convince the people to administer the vaccines , but some of them are not willing to administer due to their own perception.
However, “I appeal the people of the state to take the vaccines for ensuring good health”, Conrad K. Sangma added.
