Shillong ( Meghalaya) , Aug 30 : The state reported 134 new Covid cases and only 1 fatality in the last 24 hours .
According to the data shared by the health department , 134 new cases were detected in the state on Monday with East Khasi Hills recording 78 cases .

1 Covid death was reported from Ri Bhoi district .
260 patients were also discharged on Monday after full recovery .
The active cases now stand at 2,509 .
