Shillong (Meghalaya), Dec 3: Former Speaker and Minister Abu Taher Mondal today joined the National People’s Party ( NPP ).
He was also named as the NPP’s Candidate for Phulbari (46) Constituency for the 2023 Assemby Elections.

His induction is likely to strengthen NPP across the state and help the state bring more laurels .
He was felicitated in the presence of Chief Minister and National President of NPP- Conrad K Sangma, State Working President Donkupar War, Working President of Phulbari Constituency Albistone A. Sangma,East Khasi Hills District President Jied Sing Kurbah, NPYF State Youth President Kitborlang Nongrem and State Secretary Bajop Pyngrope.
