Shillong(Meghalaya) April 13: A total of 87 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the state on Tuesday taking the number of actives ones to 270.
Among the new cases 78 were reported from East Khasi Hills , 4 from Ri Bhoi , 3 from West Jaintia Hills and 1 each from East Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills.

According to a press statement , 10 persons were declared recovered taking the total number of recoveries to 13966.
The state tally now stands at 14, 387 with 270 active cases after recovery of 13, 966 patients . The death toll so far stands at 151 .
