Tura (Meghalaya), Aug 30: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the CM Connect Centre at the P. A. Sangma Stadium here in Tura, today. The centre is a dedicated platform for citizens to directly dial “1971 – CM Connect” to raise their concerns, suggestions, and grievances for swift redressal.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Thomas A. Sangma, Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Vibhor Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, and Banteilang J. Kharshandi, Nodal Officer of CM Connect.
Describing CM Connect as “not just a program, not just a phone number, nor just an office—it is an idea,” Chief Minister Sangma emphasized that the initiative is built on the principle of connecting the government with the people. The CM Connect centre aims to bridge the gap between the government and citizens, ensuring that their concerns are heard and addressed promptly.
