Kolkata(West Bengal), May 8 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is holding a series of formal and informal meeting in Kolkata to finalize the West Bengal Chief Minister pick on Friday.
Shah, who arrived in Kolkata in the morning will hold the final round of meetings with the newly elected MLAs in the evening to name the Chief Minister-designate.
Senior party leaders here say the contenders for the top job include Suvendu Adhikary, Dilip Ghosh and Samik Bhattacharya.
On the other hand, the oath taking ceremony is being organized on Saturday where Governor RN Ravi will administer the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues the oath of office and secrecy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a few of his cabinet colleagues from Delhi apart from all NDA Chief Ministers have confirmed their presence in the oath taking ceremony.
