Shillong (Meghalaya), July 21 : 21 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state of Tuesday taking the total number of cases in the state to 490 .
However , the active cases stand at 416 after a total of 70 patients were discharged after full recovery.

DHS (MI) Dr Aman War said that 13 new cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 7 in Ri Bhoi and 1 in West Jaiñtia Hills district.Out of 13 cases in East Khasi Hills, 2 are CRPF personnel, 1 BSF, and 9 others.
He also added that 18 patients have recovered raising the figures from 52 to 70.
