Shillong (Meghalaya), March 17 : The Shillong Police have busted a bike theft ring, arresting 4 individuals involved in the racket. The accused, Vencentstar Tongwah, Kitborlang Mawlong, Royalroy Lyngdoh, and Ayan Kharthangmaw, were apprehended and confessed to stealing bikes from Umroi, Goraline, and Golf Links.
A raid at an under-construction building in Ladrymbai recovered stolen bikes and parts, including 1 Yamaha R15 and 1 Yamaha Ray Z. The stolen vehicles were handed over to a person at Ladrymbai.

The arrests follow the earlier arrest of Shabamutlang Syiemlieh, who stole a bike from Golflinks on March 2.
Police suspect a larger bike theft network, with parts packed in sacks ready for dispatch.
