Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 27: In a swift response to a brazen mobile snatching incident, police have arrested two individuals, Kitbok Kitbok Thabah @ Koi (29) and Daniel Syiemlieh (23), for allegedly assaulting pedestrians and snatching their phones near the CM Connect building, Golflinks, on Jan 21.

The accused were nabbed today. January 27, with the stolen phones and the Scooty used in the crime (B/R No. ML05 AG0461) recovered. A case is registered against them under relevant sections of the BNS (Sadar PS C/no. 16(01)2026 U/S 115(2)/304(2)/3(5)).
