Shillong(Meghalaya), Oct 29: The Shillong Sports Association is all set to launch the inaugural Shillong Super Cup 2025, a brand-new tournament that brings together the top six teams from the Shillong Premier League 2025. The tournament, which will feature Langsning, Shillong Lajong, Mawlai, Nangkiew Irat, Rangdajied United, and Sawmer, will consist of five knockout matches.
Langsning and Shillong Lajong, the champions and runners-up of the SPL 2025, have received byes to the semifinals. The quarterfinals will feature Nangkiew Irat against Rangdajied United on Friday and Mawlai against Sawmer on Saturday. Both matches will kick off at 5 pm.
The Super Cup promises to be an exciting tournament, with past form not necessarily being a guide to success in the knockout format. Football fans can look forward to thrilling matches as the top teams battle it out for the coveted trophy.
