Shillong(Meghalaya), Jan22 : In a landmark event, the highly anticipated coffee table book, “Her Story: The Women Trailblazers of Meghalaya,” was officially launched today at the Secretariat. Edited by Dr. David Arnold Kharchandy, Secretary of the Centre for Historical Research, Synod College, here , this book is a testament to the remarkable journeys of women who have left an indelible mark on Meghalaya’s cultural, social, and political landscape.
The release ceremony was graced by Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, as the Chief Guest. Other esteemed guests included Dr. Wanwei Roy Kharlukhi, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, and members of the Management of Synod College.
This book celebrates the trailblazing women of Meghalaya who have challenged stereotypes, broken barriers, and redefined the role of women in shaping the state’s modern identity.
