Shillong ( Meghalaya), Oct 8 : The Meghalaya State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) continued its tireless efforts to provide relief to flood-affected areas in Dalu Block, West Garo Hills.
SDRF teams cleared fallen trees from electrical lines in Koinabhoi, Dalu, enabling the restoration of power supply. Another team distributed vital relief materials to Jijikapara village in Dalu C&RD Block.
Since last Friday, the SDRF has been stationed in the flood-hit area, responding to flash floods caused by heavy rainfall.

“We are committed to supporting affected communities,” said PH Shylla, Additional Public Relations Officer.
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is a specialized force tasked with responding to natural disasters in Meghalaya.
