Shillong (Meghalaya), Sep 10 : The members of Ka Sur Ki Nongmawlai today made their surprise presence felt in front of the main gate of the Secretariat here amidst tight security.
While raising banners, the members of Ka Sur Ki Nongmawlai also shouted slogans demanding justice .
In a symbolic protest ,the KSKM members also surrendered the traditional knives in front of the main gate of the Secretariat.

The knives were immediately taken away by police personnel.
The organization is demanding the suspension of the senior police officials involved in the killing of Ex- HNLC leader C. Thangkhiew who was shot dead at his residence on Aug 13 last .
