Kokrajhar (Assam),Aug 11: ” There will no impact on UPPL and state government if BPF merged with BJP in the near future”, said UPPL president Pramod Boro.
Boro, who is also chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Council and also the UPPL chief while talking with reporters on Wednesday in Kokrajhar said that UPPL-BJP-AGP are sailing smoothly in the government at Dispur and accordingly there is no fear of disintegration of the alliance.
He said that UPPL and BJP are maintaining healthy integration as far as leading of the government is concerned and there is total dedication of it’s services towards development and welfare of the common masses.
He said that BPF’s present strategy will not serve any purpose as they are now unstable within their organization.
He alleged that BPF party and it’s leaders are now puzzled as what’s to do and what not to do.
“Sometime BPF party leaders say they are going to merge with some party and sometimes are saying that they will allign with some party who are now in the ruling the government “,Boro said.
He said that the UPPL-BJP-AGP alliance partners are fully prepared to contest the upcoming assembly bye – polls in the state.
He was confident that UPPL will be getting the opportunity to set up their with own candidates in both Gossaigaon and Tamulpur constituencies of Bodoland Territorial Council districts in the upcoming assembly by-polls.
On the cabinet expansion in the state, UPPL president Boro has said that his party is getting one more cabinet berth in the scheduled cabinet expansion to be held after August 15 .
He said that the.BJP led alliance government has been emphasizing on healthy welfare and development of the common masses across the state.
On the NLFB returning to the mainstream ,Boro said that the state government wants peace and harmony in the society. He said that the government has hailed the decision of NLFB to return to the mainstream for overall peace and tranquility in the region.
“We welcome the NLFB militants who have come to the mainstream by giving arms struggle. The society in general don’t want arms conflict. Boro is taking detailed information from police about actual numbers of NLFB members who have come over ground and state government is taking necessary steps for their rehabilitation.
He has informed that as per source most of the NLFB member and cadres are from the youth wing of BPF and BRTF .
He has also urged the young generations to be dedicated while building healthy social as well creating an integrated environment.
