Shillong ( Meghalaya), July 4 : Seven more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 862 .
While five deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills, one each was reported from Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills .
A total of 489 new cases were detected on Sunday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 262 cases .

632 patients were discharged today after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stand at 4,434 .
