Meghalaya registers highest single -day spike of 627 more fresh cases & 12 deaths

Shillong(Meghalaya), May 14 : Despite all measures to curb the surge of Covid -19 cases in the state , 627 new cases were detected in the state during the last 24 hours  taking the active cases in the state to 4,014 .

Todays , figures are the highest daily spike ever since the the first cases was detected in the state .

On Friday ,12 more critically ill patients succumbed to their infections taking the death toll to 280 .

Moreover , 327 patients were also discharged from various hospitals today  after full recovery .
