Guwahati (Assam), Oct 28 : A total of 448 new Covid cases and 3 deaths were reported in the state today .
Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that 448 new cases were detected out of 26150 tests conducted today, with positivity rate of 1.71% . Among the new cases Kamrup Metro reported 118 new cases .
3 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections today taking the death toll to 917 . The patients have been identified as Anima Rani Deb (65) of Kamrup Metro; Probin Shyam (83) and Bijoy Paik (58) of Golaghat.

A total of 1487 patients were discharged after recovery .
