Assam Covid Update : 427 new cases ; 4 more deaths

Guwahati (Assam), Oct 23 : 427 new Covid cases were detected today out of 17496 tests conducted, with a positivity rate of 2.44%.

Health Minister , H B Sarma informed that Kamrup Metro reported 224 cases today out of 427 cases and a total of 2184 patients were discharged after recovery .

4 more Covid positive patients succumbed to their infections today taking the death toll to 900 .
The patients have been identified as Sunil Swami (60) of Sonitpur; Umesh Chandra Das (70) of Kamrup Metro; Usha Bordoloi (25) of Morigaon and Ganga Maya Gurung (60) of Sonitpur.
