Guwahati (Assam), May 26 : Assam crossed the 600 mark today with detection of 19 more fresh Covid cases this evening taking the total number to 616 .
Health Minister , Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said 7 cases have been reported from Karimganj, 5 from Goalpara , 3 from Guwahati and 1 each from Dhubri , Hailakhandi, Udalguri and Lakhimpur .
With this the total number of active cases have gone upto 547 and so far 62 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after they fully recovered .
The minister tweeted at 8 pm , ”📌Alert ~ 19 new cases of #COVID19+ reported.7 Karimganj, 5 Goalpara, 3 Guwahati, 1 each from Dhubri, Hailakandi, Udalguri, Lakhimpur.”
