Guwahati (Assam), May 15 : The number of COVID-19 cases in the state mounted to 89 after three fresh cases were reported in the city .
According to state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma the three new cases tested are from Sarusajai Quarantine centre, a patient of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and one who migrated to West Bengal.
The Minister tweeted : ”Alert ~ 3 persons tested #COVID19 + in Kamrup Metro. One person is from Sarusajai Quarantine camp, 1 indoor patient of GMCH, & one has migrated to West Bengal.↗️Total cases 89,↗️Recovered 41,↗️Active cases 44,↗️Deaths 2,↗️Migrated 2
