Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Nov 22: “There will be no impact on BPF party with exit of MP Biswajit Daimary and MLA Emmanuel Mushahary from BPF party fold”, Assam Social welfare minister and senior BPF leader Pramila Rani Brahma said.
Both the party leaders formally joined the saffron party on Sunday in the presence of CM Sarbananda Sonowal,Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass just ahead of the general elections to the Bodoland Territorial Council.
Daimary was the Rajya Sabha MP and working president of BPF while Mushahary was the general secretary of the party and sitting MLA from Tamulpur constituency.
Brahma said that both the leaders have been trying to show off their personality and support to the chief minister and BJP ,so they have finally joined the BJP for getting importance the state politics .
She said that they have not come to the forefront due to their own quality, but were in limelight due to BPF .
” We are not worried about they joining the saffron party and we are rather happy as our unwanted leaders have joined the BJP “, Brahma said .
Brahma said Emmanuel Mushahary has betrayed BPF for not getting ministerial berth and for not giving his favourite candidate a ticket from Goibari constituency in the forthcoming BTC council elections.
