Guwahati( Assam), July 3 : The much talked about Plasma Bank started in Guwahati today . The bank will cater to the needs of the critically ill Covid patients in the state .
With rapidly increasing Covid cases in the state , especially in the capital city Guwahati all essential services are being upgraded as per instructions from the centre .

The Plasma Bank was today started at the Guwahati Medical College and the first convalescent donor was a doctor himself, a #COVID19 patient.
Dr Lithikesh who was infected while discharging his duties and subsequently recovered donated his plasma today.
Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while thanking the cured doctor encouraged cured patients to come forward & donate their plasma .
