Kokrajhar (Assam),Oct 14: Senior BJP leader and NEDA chief Himanta Biswa Sarma said that BJP wants BTR elections to be held as soon as possible either in December or earlier and his party fully prepared for the council elections.
“BJP will be contesting in 27 seats in BTR election. Their alliance partner in the state ,BPF is also contesting independently in the council elections.
Both parties are contesting in the council elections in the state.
Assam health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing the ST mo
rcha session said that BJP will form the next BTR government by winning majority of the seats in the ensuing BTR elections.
Dr Sarma said that the BTR election is going to be held in December next where several other parties are contesting the the council elections. He said that BJP will form BTR government by winning majority seats.
” BJP alliance with BPF and AGP in the state is intact and BJP would be contesting alone in BTR elections”, said Dr Sarma.
He said that BJP has been maintaining good integration in the state to pave way for development.
Dr Sarma has also offered prayers and worship services to the Bathow Thanshali and paid homage to Bodofa Upgrades Nath Brahma at venue of the session .
