Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Oct 13 : After majority of the regional parties claiming to form the next BTC Council , State BJP President , Ranjit Das claimed on Monday that his party will be forming the next Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) administration with alliance partners who are successful in winning majority of the seats in the 40 member house of the BTC Legislative Assembly.
Das while attending a party meeting of the Kokrajhar district unit of BJP party held at Jugami Bhawan here said that his party is getting massive support for the forthcoming council elections.
He said that BJP is contesting the BTC council elections on a friendly basis in BTC council and has put up own candidates in 26 seats in the council.
He said thar BJP is forming the BTC council administration with the support of alliance partners who secure majority of the seats in the council.
He announced that several prominent BPF party leaders are joining the BJP soon and they are in touch with the party leadership in Dispur .
He said that BJP is also fully prepared for the 2021 Assembly election in the state and urged the party workers to dedicate their time for development .
