Guwahati (Assam) , Oct 13 : A total of 1482 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Tuesday out of 126279 tests conducted today indicating that flattening of the COVID-19 curve has o started in the state .
Health Minister , H B Sarma in a tweeted “, ” Gives me confidence to share that our positivity rate continues to be very low at 1.17%. However, still we should not lower our guards. Today 1482 #COVID detected out of 126279 tests performed today~ that’s 1 lakh + tests, second day in a row.
4 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections at various hospitals in the state taking the official death toll to 830 .
The deceased were identified as Ratul Bora (50) of Dibrugarh; Horumai Begum (55) of Sivasagar; Binod Kumar Agarwalla (61) of Kamrup Metro and Hiren Lekharu (69) of Jorhat.
